Terms, in plain words

The deal
Frondi gives you a few free plant checks. If you want more, you pay US$14.99 once and own every feature, forever — no subscription, no renewal, nothing to cancel. "Forever" means for as long as Frondi exists as a product: if we ever had to shut the servers down, the features that need them (diagnosis, the clinic) would stop working, but you'd never be charged again and your saved data would still be on your device. We built Frondi specifically so that can't sneak up on you the way a trial does.
What Frondi is — and isn't
Frondi gives informational plant-care guidance. We build it from university extension publications and peer-reviewed research, and we cite them — but Frondi is not a university, a horticulturalist, a veterinarian, or a lab. AI can be wrong, photos can mislead, and plants can die even with good care. That's exactly why Frondi tells you its certainty and shows its sources instead of bluffing. Don't use Frondi as your only source for decisions involving animal or human health, food safety, or anything expensive.
Refunds
Not for you? Email us within 14 days of buying and we refund it, no questions asked. That matches the EU's 14-day cooling-off right — and we give it to everyone, everywhere, because we'd rather refund you than trap you. The price is in US dollars wherever you are; your bank converts it, and local taxes may apply at checkout.
Fair use
One purchase is a licence for one person, on your own devices. Please don't resell access, share unlock links publicly, hammer the API with scripts, or use Frondi to build a competing dataset. Free checks and referral bonuses are for humans, not automation. We can revoke access that's being abused — that's the only situation where we'd ever take something away.
Liability
Frondi is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us. We're a small, honest product, priced accordingly.
Housekeeping
Frondi serves plant owners worldwide from its home in Canada. A contract needs one rulebook, so these terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada — but wherever you live, nothing here takes away rights your local consumer law gives you. Where your law grants you more than these terms do, you keep the more. If we change the terms, the date at the top changes and the current version always lives at this address.
