Yellow leaves? Check before you water.
Yellow leaves are a sign to look closer. They do not point to just one cause.
Start with the pot
Check whether water can drain out. Look for water left in the saucer. Too much water can damage roots. Too little can also cause leaves to fall.
Look at the whole plant
Note which leaves changed, when it started, and any recent move. Watering, light and pests can all play a part. A photo alone may not settle the cause.
Keep a record
Take a photo and write down what you find. If you change care, record the change too. That gives you something to review at the next check.
